Lisa Donovan Berry joined CI Azumano Travel in June 2016 and is the Vice President of Employee Development.  As a travel industry leader with 20+ years of experience, Lisa brings with her a proven record of providing global travel management services to national and multi-national companies, DoD and governmental agencies.

Lisa’s role at CI includes building and retaining high performance teams by hiring, developing, and motivating skilled professionals while fostering employee commitment to excellence.  She is responsible for managing business contracts with DoD and Government Agencies, with a strong understanding of Federal government processes, contract administration, and complex contracting regulations.  Lisa ensures that the systems and technology infrastructure are sufficient to meet the client needs, and are leveraged to optimize efficiency and effectiveness and proactively address operational rhythms, processes and procedures which are aimed at improving the business effectiveness. 

Prior to joining CI, Lisa has had successful leadership roles as Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President and Vice President within the travel industry with extensive experience in operations, account management, project management, vendor management and contract negotiations. Lisa is an advocate for The Code [The Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation in Travel and Tourism (www.thecode.org] which aims to create a highly aware and well-trained tourism industry that can recognize and prevent potential abuse.

Lisa received her Bachelor of Science Degree Cum Laude from Salem State University.

When not working, Lisa enjoys cycling, swimming, and running; is active in fundraising for childhood cancers, breast cancer, leukemia and lymphoma and multiple sclerosis; and is a mentor for transitional housing families.
