Fun Poker Facts
• Playing cards were invented in China.
• A fifth suit was added in 1937 but never caught on because people had to buy all new decks.
• Dead mans hand is Aces and Eights
• Getting dealt 10,2 is referred to as Doyle Brunson because he won back to back World Series
with the hand.

Navy during WWll. That is roughly equal to $42,640 in 2004 dollars. He used that money as
well as more poker winnings to
finance his run for the U.S. Congress in 1946, which he won.
• The earliest known game of texas holdem was played in Robstown, Texas, in the early 1900s. The game was brought to Las Vegas by a group of Texan gamblers and card players, including Doyle "Texas Dolly" Brunson, Crandell Addington, and Amarillo Slim.

Tour Description - Sarchi is the cradle of Costa Rican handiwork, where the famous painted oxcarts - symbols of Costa Rican folklore - are still made using traditional methods. Sarchi's workshops also produce thousands of items carved from the fine tropical hardwoods, leather and textiles. The route to Sarchi passes through picturesque small towns like Grecia, with its unique metal church. During tour clients will have time at leisure to make some shopping around the artisans center.

Tour Description - A early morning departure to Arenal Volcano the Central Valley and wind our way around the
Central Volcanic Mountain Range, pass tranquil towns, pastoral scenes, cloud forest and gorgeous views. Ending up on the rolling
plains of San Carlos, dominated by the impressive cone of Arenal Volcano, famous for its incredible eruptions, lava streams and
incandescent rock explosions, resembling natural firework displays. We will visit lush tropical gardens and natural hot springs -
the ideal setting for observation of the volcano. This hot springs offer various pools from hot mineral springs with temperatures

ATV Tour of Hermosa Beach- $95
Duration - Approximately half a day
Included - All Terrain Four-Wheel Vehicles (ATV`s) fully equipped, safety helmets, experienced bilingual guides,
a terrific local meal, refreshments during the tour, round-trip transportation.
Bring - Cool comfortable clothes and shoes, sun block, bathing suit and towel, insect repellent and camera.
Tour Description - Beginning at the northern most point of Hermosa Beach we will ascend into the rainforest.
Our first stop offers photo opportunities and sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Jaco Beach and the Nicoya Peninsula.
Continuing another 18 kilometers you travel above the canopy and along the tops of La Gloria's mountains before descending
to a waterfall hidden just beyond a small stream. After a dip in the waterfall, we leave for a tour alongside the volcanic
sand of Hermosa Beach and, timed to catch the sunset, a ride alongside Jaco Beach.

Bijagual Waterfall Horseback Riding - $80
Duration - Approximately half a day
Included - Air-conditioned transportation, horseback riding equipment, experience bilingual guide, fresh tropical fruits and

Tour Description - Plummeting from cliffs deep in the jungle, the Bijagual waterfalls await to be discovered by explorers
willing to take the challenge and extract its secrets. Climbing the small range between Carara National Park and the
protected zone of Turrubares, the road to Bijagual is a rewarding experience, filled with stunning views of
the Pacific Ocean and the coastal fishing villages, alternating with dramatic changes in vegetation. After this scenic
drive, visitors continue on horseback facilitating access to this magical place. The jungle trail leads visitors to
within a few hundred yards of the roaring sounds of the waterfalls as they blend with the calls of Toucans and Scarlet Macaws.
Explorers will revel in the pleasures of nature with a plunge into the pristine pools at the base of the waterfalls.
A must for all participants! Afterwards you can explore this mystical site and observe the abundant wildlife.

Tour Description - This trip will guarantee a full range of excitement while in total contact with one the few transitional
forests remaining between the Tropical Dry Forest and the Tropical Humid Forest in Costa Rica. The tour consists of gliding along
several platforms connected by steel
cables, suspended in the canopy of the trees. To move from tree to tree we use the best quality pulleys and climbing gear.
The height of the platforms varies from 60 to 132 ft. above the ground.

Tour Description - With the establishment of Manuel Antonio National Park in 1972, the people of Costa Rica began, for

Manuel Antonio contains a charming combination of the most beautiful beaches in the country and coral reefs outlined

Tour Description - The Pacific Rain Forest Aerial Tram allows guests to discover the hidden secrets and hanging gardens
of the Transitional Tropical Rainforest from an awe-inspiring perspective. Created to raise the world's consciousness of the
importance of the tropical rainforests, the Aerial Tram is an eco-tourism project with 222 acres of rainforest, showcasing small
waterfalls and scenic views of the Pacific Coast. You will glide through a transitional area full of bright tropical vegetation
and packed with exotic wildlife forming the junction between the extremely rare tropical dry forest and the more familiar
tropical rainforest.

Rain Maker Tour- $105

Tour Description - The Rainmaker is a 1500-acre reserve mainly consisting of primary rainforest. Rainmaker
is part of the Quepos Corridor, through which numerous birds and other wildlife migrate throughout the year. Reaching an
elevation of 1700 meters (5576 feet), it is home to approximately 2500 plant species within four different bio zones. The
mission of the Rainmaker Project is to save this valuable nature laboratory and watershed. The Rainmaker Canopy Walk consists
of a stringently engineered suspension bridge. The six sections total 250 meters (820 ft.), spanning from platforms that are
attached to massive hardwood trees, creating the most impressive canopy walk in Costa Rica. The design permits minimal impact
on the forest, giving an opportunity to safely explore the majesty of the natural forest canopy from a birds-eye view.

Tour Description - A great combination to take advantage of one of Costa Rica's most beautiful features: the Ocean. After a
short drive to a secluded beach and some brief instruction we're off. Watch frigate birds and pelicans glide overhead as you paddle
along the spectacular coastline. Land on a deserted beach where you will have the opportunity to do some snorkelling and explore the
reefs looking for colourful tropical fish.

White Water Rafting at Naranjo River - $105
Duration - Approximately half a day
Included - Transportation and bilingual guide, fresh tropical fruits and bottled water.
Bring - Rubber-soled shoes, swimsuit; shorts of a quick-drying material; hat with a brim for sun; towel;
waterproof sun protection; T-shirt is optional. Bring an extra change of dry clothes for after rafting.
Tour Description -A class III / IV half day challenge for more experienced paddlers. The Naranjo River drops steeply from
the mountains above Quepos, through a beautiful jungle gorge and takes you on a wild ride to sea level passing nearby farmlands
and palms plantations. Note: Rafters should be physically fit and ready for adventure.
