My introduction to the travel industry was in San Francisco where I worked as an agent making business travel arrangements for a firm’s corporate clients. I moved to the Hampton Roads area in 1985 and joined CI Travel’s Leisure Division as a vacation consultant. In the 23 years since, I have provided travel consultation services to clients who have relied on me to help them get their best vacation experience.

I have earned my Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) designation as well as certification as a destination specialist with Sandals Resorts, Walt Disney, Las Vegas and Travel Bound, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean, Carnival Cruise Lines.

I’ve been many places over the years, but the most exceptional experience of all was the African safari I took to Kenya. It was a once in a lifetime adventure, filled with so many exotic animals and a unique culture. It was fascinating to witness the daily lives of the people; they have no idea how special it is. There are so many places I have yet to see I usually only visit an area once, but I have to admit that some have drawn me back a few times. As a matter of fact, I have made a total of 20 trips to Hawaii, Jamaica, Italy, Thailand and Singapore combined!
